Carlyn Davis Casting, Inc :

The Falls Church office of Carlyn Davis Casting is currently offering part time and one FULL time internships for the 2011 FALL Semester. These internships are unpaid, but school credit and travel stipend is offered. You do not have to be a student to intern. However, please be advised that this is an unpaid internship with a travel stipend offered.

The full time internship will have some pay and requires 5 days a week and may turn into a full time Paid Casting Assistant position.

Our office hours are Monday-Friday, 9:15am to 5:30pm. The internship would be from August 29th, 2011 through end of December, 2011. Interns are responsible to come in for at least 2 consecutive days a week. They may choose to intern for more than 2 days if schedules allow.

Carlyn Davis Casting will be doing background for a Feature Film this semester so this is an excellent time to learn the business!

Duties include answering busy phones, interaction with talent and clients, helping with Audio/Video during casting sessions, scheduling auditions, scouting talent at local theatres, etc. Strong computer skills and basic video camera knowledge (framing terms, camera use, etc) are a plus. There is no better way to learn the casting/film industry than behind the scenes.

Carlyn Davis Casting is looking for REAL current or former military men & women and their spouses, 20-30 years old, for a non-union PSA about possible mental health issues due to combat, stress, etc. The audition and shoot will take place in the month of August.
